Windward Roads is a prominent construction company based in Sint Maarten, established in 1986. As part of Janssen de Jong Caribbean, the company operates not only in Sint Maarten but also extends its services to Saba and St. Eustatius. The company boasts an extensive fleet of machinery, enabling them to undertake diverse projects across the Windward Islands. Since its inception, Windward Roads has grown to employ over 60 individuals. In terms of sustainability, Windward Roads is committed to minimizing environmental impact. Luxury Villa Technologies played a key role in the design, delivery, and installation of a 52 kWh solar panel system and a 100 kW battery storage solution, ensuring sustainable energy production and efficiency. The team conducted detailed hurricane resilience calculations to enhance system durability and reliability in extreme weather conditions. In collaboration with the installation team, we ensured seamless integration of all components, optimizing performance and longevity. Additionally, we implemented a solar production monitoring system to track energy generation and efficiency, providing real-time insights for operational management and sustainability compliance.
